Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of hundreds of kids this summer?

We’re searching for passionate and excited staff members who are ready to care for and invest in our campers so they have the best possible experience. All applicants need to be 18 or older by the week’s start date and should be enthusiastic, hardworking, and knowledgeable for the positions we need to be filled.

Driver Application

The camp driver is responsible for all airport pick up and drop offs of staff and special guests flying in to the Nashville airport. The driver must also be available for various errands throughout the week; for example, taking an injured camper to the clinic for an X-ray or grocery shopping for needed items in the dining hall are a few of the errands needed throughout the week.  If chosen to be the driver, you must be available starting the Saturday before your session begins and be available until the following Saturday in the event an airport run is needed. A staff member will let you know prior to your week of camp when you will be needed. All drivers must be 21 years of age by camp time. On site lodging and food will be provided for the driver by Flip Fest. All that are interested must fill out the Driver Application, sign and complete the Driver Rules, and attach a picture of your Driver’s License as well as a copy of your car insurance declarations page with coverage limits. All that are interested must fill out an online application no later than March 1.

Visiting Coach

For a gym team that brings 10 or more gymnasts to camp, they have the option to bring a visiting coach to camp free of charge. The visiting coach will have lodging on the camp property in staff cabins and have food provided by Flip Fest. This position can be used as a learning/“floating” position and is not a hands-on coaching staff position. A visiting coach is allowed on the gym floor to observe, take notes, and attend all clinics given throughout the week. Coaches of all experience levels and abilities have chosen to take this position and enjoy it’s many benefits. If you do not have a team of ten or more coming to Flip Fest, you can still send a visiting coach for a fee of $350. All that are interested must fill out an online application no later than March 1.

Working Coach

Current gymnastics coaches coming with or without their team that interested in attending Flip Fest as a hired position can also apply. As a working coach you are assigned to a group the entire week and will coach gymnasts on all four events. Flip Fest looks for coaches ages 18 + yrs. with competitive gymnastics coaching experience. Your food and on site staff lodging are provided by Flip Fest. All that are interested must fill out an online application no later than March 1.

Lifeguard Application

Certified Lifeguards 18 years or older interested in a job lifeguarding the campers at the swimming area in the lake for approximately 15 hours a week Monday through Thursday can fill out the Lifeguard Application online now.

Ropes Course

For individuals ages 18 and up interested in getting trained to take the campers through the ropes course in the woods can apply to be part of the Ropes Course team. No previous experience is necessary but is recommended! Past experience working with children is desired. The more weeks you are available in succession, the better your chance of being hired. All interested should apply online by March 1 to be considered.

Camp Counselor

Camp Counselor positions are for adults 18 years and older who love to work with children. We look for counselors with high energy, enthusiasm and a desire to make camp an unforgettable experience while ensuring camper safety. A hard-working demeanor and willing attitude to jump into any camp activity are a must. Counselors get to enjoy staying in a cabin with 16-18 campers throughout the week with the benefit of room and board provided by Flip Fest. Counselors will have a short meeting in the morning and at least one break (2-3 hours long) during the day. Camp is in session from 12pm on Sundays through 1pm on Fridays. Although this is a gymnastics and Ninja camp, counselor positions require no previous gymnastics or Ninja experience or knowledge! Previous work with children is not required but looked highly upon. Returning counselors may apply for the whole summer or specific weeks. All that are interested must fill out an online application no later than March 1.

Camp Dad Application

Camp Dads positions are available each week for fathers of gymnasts coming to camp. Camp dads are available to assist the camp owners and directors with odd jobs around the property; grilling lunch and/or dinner is a camp dads main task while starting and putting out camp fires, helping at ropes course, running an occasional errand to Lowe’s or Sam’s Club, and other odd jobs will also be asked of camp dads.  Any “handy” dad is welcome to apply. Your food and on-site staff lodging will be provided by Flip Fest for the week. All that are interested must fill out an online application no later than March 1.

Camp Manager (Parent with Medical background)

This position is voluntary and for a parent of a gymnast at camp. The camp manager must be currently employed as a physician, nurse, or emergency medical technician and be on the property if needed at all times during the entire week of camp. Dispensing of medication- both prescription and OTC- and consulting on “under the weather” campers will be the camp managers responsiblity. Food and on site staff lodging is also provided by Flip Fest. All that are interested must fill out an online application no later than March 1.

Athletic Trainer

The Athletic Trainer position is for certified athletic trainers who love to work with children. Previous experience with gymnasts is recommended. We look for athletic trainers with high energy that come to camp to help ensure the camper’s wellness and enjoyment of camp. All training supplies are provided by Flip Fest. Your food and lodging will be provided by Flip Fest. All that are interested must fill out an online application no later than March 1.

Canteen

The canteen application is for adults 18 and older who work well in a fast paced environment and are high energy. The applicant is responsible for preparing and selling snacks along with apparel. The applicant does not have to stay on property at night; he or she can travel home for the night. Past experience working with children is a plus! The more weeks you are available in succession the better your chance of being hired. All interested should apply online by March 1 to be considered for camp.

Junior Counselor

Applicant must be 16 yrs. of age or older to apply to be a Junior Counselor. The Junior Counselor position does require a camper registration. JC’s are not a paid position. As a Junior Counselor you will be assisting a counselor in their cabin, helping during meal times, cleaning up around camp, working with staff at activities, and meeting with the Counselor Director daily. There will be a required phone interview after applications close. All that are interested must fill out an online registration no later than March 1.
