740The last day of competiton had a lot of great gymnastics. The US only had athletes on floor for women, but Jana Bieger came through when she won another silver medal. We all said our goodbyes that night at the final banquet (see pics) and I loaded a bus at 4:30am with the US men's team and headed for Copenhagen and my flight to Iceland.
Guillermo Alvarez and I are going to spend a week in Iceland with a fellow Golden Gopher Gymnast Dyri Kristianson, who is from Iceland. It should be a fun trip. I will be sure to post as many pictures as I can. I think we are going to train with some of the Icelandic National Team, so I will let you know how that goes. I better get in shape.
